The FACETA Spa is submerged beneath the FACETA hotel and plays off of the contrast and balance of the line, linear and organic and the emotions of light and dark. Guest are greeted in a white and bright reception that feels light and soft. The reception has a small retail and waiting area that will feature cosmetic and apothecary products.
The treatment room can host two clients at a time, with two beds and 2 sinks. The treatment room also has a luxurious stone bath for post treatment cleansing. The palate is soft and inviting. Mint, grey stone and antiqued mirror reflect a resting and meditative space.
The interior of the spa is dark and gives the feeling of being submerged and engulfed. Concrete, brass, stone and back light concetta stone gives the space a somber and dreamy atmosphere. The pool reflects the light brass coffered ceiling and back light stone. The pool looks deep and wide with the play of the levels of the water to the surface of the floor.
The spa also features a "rain room". An idea merged from the Rain Room by the MOMA and the Infinity Mirror Room by Yayoi Kusama to create a path through which one walks through to meditate whilst feeling the presence of rain and infinite of self in the elements.
